We welcome new and transfer students to our school community and are committed to ensuring a smooth and supportive enrollment process for all families.

Admission Requirements

Enrollment is open to:

  • Grades K–8: New enrollment or in-district transfer students may enroll within the first two weeks of each quarter.
  • High School: Enrollment for grades 9–12, except for Eagle Center students, is permitted during the first two weeks of each semester.
  • Out-of-District Transfers: Students relocating into district boundaries will be enrolled upon relocation.
  • Special Considerations: Students who have been expelled or are undergoing expulsion proceedings will be reviewed case-by-case.

Requirements for Enrollment

  • A completed application.
  • Documentation confirming promotion to the grade being entered.

If your child has an Individualized Education Plan or has received services through a special education program, please notify the office immediately to ensure proper placement and support. Families who are currently homeless should inform the office staff at the time of enrollment for additional assistance and resources.

Parent and Guardian Involvement

We prioritize transparency and meaningful involvement for parents and guardians during enrollment. This includes:

  • Information Access: Parents and guardians will receive full details about enrollment options and educational opportunities.
  • Transportation Support: Schools will provide transportation to the school of origin, if applicable.
  • Dispute Resolution: Written explanations will be provided in disputes over school selection and enrollment. Parents/guardians will also be referred to the Liaison for dispute resolution.
  • Active Participation: Parents and guardians are encouraged to participate in their children's education.

Enrollment Process

To enroll at our school:

  1. Ensure all required documentation is completed before your child’s entrance and classroom assignment.
  2. Submit any teacher requests for consideration during the placement process. While requests are considered, the final decision rests with the principal based on class sizes, teacher strengths and students' individual needs.
  3. Understand that students enrolling after the school year has begun will be placed at the principal's discretion, based on class availability and balance.

Start Date

A student’s official start date will be their first day of enrollment.
