Our school programs are designed to support every student's full development. Through cultural education, academic transition, and targeted learning support, we offer structured opportunities that promote student success.

Cultural Programming

We are proud to offer Lakota language and cultural programming across all levels. This includes daily instruction and after-school activities that celebrate and preserve traditions.

Academic Transition & Support Programs

Jump Start for Kindergarten

Incoming kindergarten students can participate in the Jump Start transition program, which introduces school routines and early learning skills.

Schedule: Monday through Thursday in June

ICU Program (Junior High)

The power of the ICU helps students take responsibility for completing assignments accurately and on time. Key features include:

  • All students are expected to complete work with at least 70% accuracy.
  • Students with missing work are added to the ICU list; families are notified.
  • Students on the list can attend after-school tutoring or 9th hour for support.
  • Incomplete work must be finished within two weeks at the end of each quarter.
  • Students may be restricted from participating in school activities if work is not completed.
  • At the end of the school year, all ICU work must be turned in before final grades are posted.

This structured system promotes student accountability and ensures academic expectations are met.

Summer School

Summer learning opportunities are available to support academic growth, credit recovery and successful transitions between grade levels.
