We are dedicated to ensuring safe and reliable transportation for all students. Please review the following policies and procedures to help maintain a smooth and respectful experience for everyone.

School Bus Information

Bus transportation is a privilege, not a right. Students are expected to demonstrate good conduct and cooperation to show appreciation for this valuable service.

  • Morning Arrivals:
    • South Campus: Buses typically arrive no later than 7:55 a.m.
    • North Campus: Buses typically arrive no later than 8:10 a.m.
  • Afternoon Departures:
    • South Campus: Buses load at the Upper Elementary School at 3:20 p.m. Students can transfer to the high school, except those on the No Heart, Fox Ridge, and Habitat routes, which are delivered directly.
    • North Campus: Country buses depart at 3:40 p.m. from the horseshoe area behind the High School.

Bus Changes

Parents/guardians are asked to notify the office immediately of any changes in bus riding arrangements. In cases where a student misses the bus due to school-related issues, the school will provide transportation home. Otherwise, parents/guardians are responsible for arranging alternative transportation.

Bus Infractions and Disciplinary Actions

The bus driver has full authority over the bus and is responsible for managing student behavior. Violations of rules will be addressed as follows:

  1. First Infraction:
    • A warning will be issued.
    • An incident report will be filed with the principal.
    • Parents/guardians will be notified.
  2. Second Infraction:
    • An incident report will be filed with the principal.
    • The principal will administer appropriate disciplinary action.
    • Parents/guardians will be notified.
  3. Subsequent or Serious Infractions:
    • An incident report will be filed with the principal.
    • Parents/guardians will be notified.
    • A determination regarding suspension from bus services will be made. Suspension from transportation does not equate to suspension from school.

In inclement weather, cancellations for country bus transportation apply to both morning and afternoon routes.

Additional Transportation Options

  • Bicycles: Students may ride bicycles to school. Bikes should be parked and locked during the school day. The school is not responsible for bicycle security.
  • Prohibited Items: Skateboards, roller skates, roller blades, scooters and similar items are prohibited on school property. Confiscated items must be retrieved by a parent/guardian.
  • Vehicles: Students with a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and parental consent may drive to school. Parking is limited to designated areas for staff, guests and High School students.
